Food Coatings are used externally on cheese, cured meet and ham. They can be applied by dipping, spraying or brushing by hand

- Prevent drying up of the product
- Improving the finish of the product

Plastic coatings
Among the characteristics that can be adjusted with the different bases are wedge cutting (particle dragging), drying speed (optimization of the drying tunnel) and resistance to damp (vacuum packing)
Natural coatings
This modern coating has the following characteristics:
- Vegetable base, edible product
- Simple elimination, easy to clean machinery, floors, walls and equipment
- New line of cheeses that can be exported, as the vinyl acetate can be eliminated
- Better natamycine stability, resulting in better fungicidal protection
- Better transpirability, drying of the rind. The proliferation of the internal mould is avoided
- Gives a natural appearance without plastic reflections

A wide range of different waxes and colors are available
Coatings for cured meat
We have coatings for different applications available:
- Adhesion of pepper and spices
- External protection treatment
- Fungus simulator treatment
Cured meat coatings are available as plastic coating or natural, edible coatings
Coatings for ham
In the ham sector, particularly in boned ham, there are the following requirements:
- Regulation of the ham drying process
- Avoiding the formation of surface mould
- Minimizing oxidation and formation of mould inside the boned ham
- Avoiding the formation of white coating on rind less ham
